      Among the Cosmetic surgery procedures, rhinoplasty is the most challenging of the Facial Plastic surgery procedures. Dr. E. Guevara Jr. pioneered in the Open Structure rhinoplasty for Oriental-Asian (Filipinos) way back in 1989 in the Philippines wherein everybody does the rim incision augmentation rhinoplasty using the silicon and now the Gortex for nasal dorsum which he started since 1997. At present he also used Osteomesh (polycaprolactone) for his supratip and nasal dorsum in place of pure cartilage. Also he used the cartilage graft from the anterior septum of the nose, conchal cartilage for supratip or sometimes the cartilage of the ribs, Iliac and calvarial bone grafts for reconstructive procedures only.
